Chinese Silk Embroideries

A gorgeous new collection of Chinese silk embroideries from the early 1900's that we have just acquired. We are separating this collection from some miscellaneous ones that we have listed under "vintage embroidery". They are all hand-embroidered on silk and with silk yarns; conditions range from pristine to very good. The workmanship is lovely and one-of-a-kind. A complete listing is available with detailed descriptions, pricing and condition.

Along with this listing under "Chinese Embroideries" will be two large featured embroideries on the home page entitled "Monk's Shawl-1870" and "Chinese Birthday Banner-1870". These two very large embroideries are exquisite examples of magnficient goldwork on the Birthday Banner and a unique beading using real pearls and coral on the monk's shawl. Very extensive photographs will be supplied showing all the incredible detailed workmanship. PICTURES FOR THESE TWO CATEGORIES WILL BE READY TO GO WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
